The Grande Bretagne Hotel in Athens is truly Grand. The hotel has hosted countless heads of state and international celebrities. The “Royal Box” of Athens is ideally located within walking distance of the Plaka Area (ancient center of Athens), Kolonaki (exclusive shopping area) , restaurants, museums and the business district. Close to the hotel is a metro stop which allows for easy access to major points of interest as well as the airport.

One of the highlights is the rooftop restaurant. It has a great view of the Acropolis and the Panathinaikon Stadium. If you aren't staying at the hotel, it's worth making a trip to the roof top at night and enjoy the view of the Acropolis which is stunningly lit at night.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, immaculately clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are huge, wonderfully lit, made from beautiful marble and complete with Molton Brown amenities. The GB Spa and Wellness Centre (including fitness center), as well as the indoor pool, opened in the fall of 2003. The pool is really nice after a hot day of sigshtseeing and the facilites at the spa including the multiple steam rooms, showers, foot bath were excellent.

The service is first class. The staff is polite and professional and the twenty-four hour room and butler service ensures you will have access to anything you need no matter the time of day. Grande Bretagne Page
