Athens in a Precious Hotel"
A very beautiful concept for a city hotel!! Periscope
is a luxury small hotel that combines perfection, excellent
service, charming staff and the most recently technology
services!
I
stayed in 402 suite which was very spacious, with
all comforts, impressive & luxury bathroom with
HACCP floor, corres toileteries and simple but practical
furniture! very beautiful pics of athens and impressive
lighten pics of athens day & by night!

available for business connection, dvd free rentals,
plasma tv, fully equipied mini bar and a sweety welcome
of sunseeds in different chocolate colors !!
The
breakfast was promissing, the staff extra nice &
efficient!
Periscope is actually in the center of everything
(kolonaki area).
Don't miss it in your visit to athens.

9/11 urban surveillance has become a primary source of
information for the agencies that monitor cities in search
for security threats. We are constantly been monitored
in ways that we are not aware of. The Periscope re-examines
urban surveillance as a social phenomenon and offers the
opportunity to the public to participate in the process
of surveying.
The hotel is located in the centre of Athens, in the Kolonaki
area, at the foot of the Lycabettus Hill, near numerous
tourist attractions. The street is typical of the area,
quite narrow, 12 meters wide, with tall buildings on either
side, transmitting the sensation of walking inside a canyon
and allowing limited frontal direct views. The guests
use the installations as aids in order to survey the city
and obtain an overview of the urban environment that surrounds
them before wandering into the streets.
Situated in Kolonaki district just 5 minutes walk from
Syntagma square in the centre of Athens. A six floor building
with 17 standard rooms- 5 junior suites and one penthouse
suite with rooftop deck and jacuzzi. Designed and furnished
with a modern- minimalistic approach. All rooms have 24hour
free internet- 21 inch plasma TV- CD and DVD player- air
conditioning- electronic safe- toiletries- slippers- hairdryer-
bathrobes and welcome offerings on arrival. The lounge
bar has lively music projecting periscopic views of Athens
in real time. A well equipped gym is also available for
use.
