Rating: 9/10 		"An Oasis in Athens"

After a long and terrible flight, I was very impressed with the hotel. I received a beautiful bowl of fruit upon arrival and the staff was excellent. My room with a balcony was spotless and comfortable.

The front desk staff was helpful with every inquiry and the location couldn't have been better! It was close to the metro stop (Megaro Moussakis) and had nice tree-lined streets all around the hotel with a supermarket and cafes just 1/2 block away.

I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

+ Friendly staff, clean, not so noisy, ca. 200-300m from Metro station, nice district.
 -It is not easy to find it by car. It would take few hours to find it without GPS.

This is a very nice hotel. We are an Italian couple who stayed there, in the Golden Suite, from 28th DEc 2006 to 4th January 2007. Apart from the unattractive view from the windows and lack of a bidet in the bathroom, the hotel is very nice, well furnished and definitely comfortable. This hotel really stands out for the helpfulness, friendliness and professionality of its staff, especially the head of staff Yannis, who did his best to help our stay in Athens. The breakfast service is fine and there is plenty of choice, the restaurant -breakfast room is cozy and elegant and so are the bar and the other shared areas. As for the breakfast, there should be more choice for the people who like products without sugar, or "light" food in general. People are allowed to smoke in a part of the restaurant, but this is a problem everywhere in Greece - unfortunately!-. The breakfast and restaurant staff are very kind and helpful and they all speak English. Some of the reception staff also speak Italian, and languages don't seem to be a problem for the personnel at this hotel.
Negative note: € 6,00 for half an hour on the Internet! This is absurd.

Stayed at Alexandros in November, 2006. I strongly recommend this hotel primarily for two reasons: good price and excellent service from staff: reception, restaurant and bar. If you take time to read ample number of reviews on various hotels (which I did prior to my trip) in Athens, you will notice one recurring problem: people complain about the service from the staff they experienced in their respective hotel.
Staff in Alexandros is excellently trained, and I was very impressed particularly by Andreas from the front desk who definately possesses a gift of hospitality.
The rooms are very good and clean and the breakfasts are outstanding! Incredible variety and wonderful quality. Do not miss the opportunity to dine at least once at the hotel restaurant - the food is wonderful and reasonably priced.

A lovely hotel-modern interior, clean and friendly staff. The location is just perfect - quiet street in the centre of a lovely neighbourhood in Athens. The surrounding area is very nice - shops and restaurants, close to the Metro, which transports you for a cheap price to any important place in Athens. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the food in the restaurant but otherwise the best place to stay in Athens on a reasonable price. Excellent hotel!

My sister and I stayed here with our sons for 3 nights on our way to Crete. We were very, very happy with the hotel. It was not in the center of everything, but it was relatively close to a subway stop, and we found the mass transit easy to use. Most important, the staff here were excellent, particularly those behind the desk. My son and I were late arriving because of travel delays, and the desk staff were worried for us! It made us feel very welcome. Whenever we needed anything (including cleaning up broken glass, the result of a little too much playing by my 8 year), they responded immediately. As well, they always gave us excellent advice in terms of tours, restaurants, etc. The rooms were a bit mixed (both fine, but mine was a bit more chraming).

I would stay again for a very good, safe, comfortable experience.

+ Easy check in and check out
- Air conditioning did not work properly, room was too hot. It took two days, six conversations with clerks, one room change, and one long conversation with the manager to get marginal satisfaction.

Rating: 10/10 		"One of the best we've ever been to"

Amazing amazing hotel, very good location (metro 5-10 mins of walk), very nice design, super restaurant with delicious dishes, very very friendly and helpful staff (espcially the front desk guy whose name we forgot), free Wifi in all rooms (sometimes gets a bit jammed but works fine), nice rooms, comfortable bed, excellent buffet breakfast, we cannot say but the best of this hotel.
